Learning Communities
Pakenham Primary School has four Learning Communities. Each Learning Community is a flexible learning space with several homegroups and staff sharing each space. The Learning Communities include a range of learning settings that support various modes of learning and teaching. Each community includes settings for wet and messy activities, quiet reflection, student collaboration, reading, games and construction, storytelling and performance, learning support and explicit teaching. The Learning Communities provide students with a diverse, purposeful and collaborative learning environment.
PAPE (Performing Arts & Physical Education)
Our PAPE building houses our out of school hours care provider as well as school activities during the day. The PAPE building is a well-equipped, self-contained sports and performing arts facility. It contains a large gym, a performing arts room, foyer/informal learning area, the school café, toilets, staff offices and service spaces.
The school also includes basketball courts, three playgrounds, a sports field and nature play areas.
